He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack M. Hill and Ruth M. Hill (Bryant); his siblings, Larry, Jack, Vicki Watterson, Virginia Trammel, Marilyn Roach and Jackie Mediate; and his half-sister Shellie Cup-Jones.

He is survived by: his daughters, Mandy Townson (Jeremy) and Hope Hill; and his sister Betty Strunk of Soddy-Daisy, TN. He is also survived by three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
