It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Bennett of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Patricksburg, Indiana, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loris J. Biddle and Melva I. Biddle (Purl); her siblings, Richard, Sue and Diana; and her grandson Kyle Light.

She is survived by: her former husband Donald Bennett; her children, Charlotta Parnell (Mike), Carl "Jake" Light (Jane) of Lafayette and Belinda Martin (Herb) of Brookston; her siblings, James Biddle of Lafayette, LaDonna Green of Sheridan and Bonnie Moore (Don) of Flora; her grandchildren, Trisha, Eric, Kristy, Craig, Kent, Tiffany and Justin; and her great grandchildren, Jaden, Olivia, Samantha, Riley, Teagan, Blythe, Rose and Sylas.
