June Linder Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Linder of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Metrogen and Kathryn Metrogen (Davis); her husband George Vick; her son Tim Vick; and her siblings, Alene Coker, Audrey Metrogen and John Metrogen.

She is survived by: her children, Anthony Vick (Kimberly) of Lafayette, Marion Vick of Lafayette and Jack Vick of San Diego, CA.; her brother Maurice Metrogen of Destin, FL; her daughter-in-law TJ Vick; her nephew Sam Jackson (Sandy) of Lafayette; and her grandchildren, Chelsea Redwine (Milton), Holly Myles (Allen), Tim Vick (Kenzie), Lindsey Vick (Daniel), Sheena Vick, Jade Redwine, Rowyn Redwine, Trey Redwine, Blaine Myles, Avery Myles, Adaline Myles and Colt Leazenby.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, the Salvation Army, or the Alzheimer's Association.

“To the family of June, I am very sorry for your loss.I knew June from the Eagles we met line dancing, June loved music and dancing and so did I we had some fun times at the Eagles, June was a great southern cook, I will never forget her delicious home made chocolate pie, her carrot cake or her peach fried pies that she would share with me. I know June had a lot of pain in her life time, but now she can rest free of care and pain.”
