We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2021, at the age of 85, Kenneth W. Rains of Lafayette, Indiana, born in New Castle, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rains and Rebecca Main Rains; his brother Michael Rains; and his stepsister Lisa Rains. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis A. Rains of Lafayette, IN; his children, Katharine Hummer (Marvin) of Lafayette and Jeff Rains (Maria); his brothers, Larry Rains (Judy) of Conway, AR, Phil Rains (Carol) of Venice, FL, Gary Rains (Jane) of Indianapolis and Jerry Rains (Helen) of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Maddie Murphy (Chad), Nicholas Rains, Tyler Hummer (Brianna) and Brandon Rains; and his great grandchildren, Tristan, Isaac, Payton, Piper, William, Skylar and Laleah.
