He was predeceased by: his parents, John Phillips and Mable Phillips (Cody); his siblings, Janet Swisher, Jackie, Ronald and Richard Phillips; and his great grandchild Robert Bentley Dean Gosnell.
He is survived by: his wife Melody Hampton; his children, LaJeanna McManis (Roland), Dawn Phillips and Rhonda Phillips; his siblings, Deloris Markwith, Charlene Counterman and John Wayne Phillips; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Jarrod Phillips, Amanda Brown, Brandenburg of Montana and Isaac Dunn. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
