He is survived by: his children, Jennie L. McGlothlin Caldwell (Dale Caldwell) and Lawrence D. McGlothlin Jr. (Kimberly A. Wheeler); his grandsons, Scott A. McGlothlin and Jeremy W. McGlothlin; his great grandchildren, Ryleigh L. McGlothlin and Evan M. McGlothlin; his friend Sue Lynn Chaney; his sisters, Mildred Jane Mayer (Susie) and Edna Marie Parker; and his siblings-in-law, Avada Faye Keith and William McIver (Bill).
