She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Lake and Ada Lake (Atwell); her husband William "Bill" Gellenbeck Sr.; and her siblings, Bill, Ray, Alvin, Elbert Jr., Paul Edward Lake, Katherine Strong, Lucille Niccum, Lula Stine and Helen Brummett.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Sanford of Lafayette, William Jr. (Joyce) of Lafayette, Eric D (Linda) of Lafayette and Steven Gellenbeck (Kimi) of West Point; her sister Isabelle Simmons of Braselton, Georgia; her grandchildren, Eric S (Jonell), Ariel, Jacoby Gellenbeck (Kaytianne) and Lauren Fishback (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Naytalia, Byron, James, Odin, Jessie, Freja and Charlee.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Jackson Heights United Methodist Church (6825 IN-28, West Point, IN 47992).
In lieu of flowers, family requests that. Memorial Contributions be made to Jackson Heights United Methodist Church for use in the youth activities.
