It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Shackelford of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Minton and Viola Minton (Mink); her spouse Claude Shackelford; her children, Jeffery T. Shackelford and Cliston Ricker; and her son-in-law Chris Ricker.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Angela, Jayne, Rhea and Rachel; and her brother Andrew Minton Jr.. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
