We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2020, at the age of 61, Melvin M. Allen of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Milford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Allen and Mary Allen (Hoover); and his brother Mike Allen. He is survived by: his wife Ammone Ourai Allen; his children, Stanley Allen of Linden, Martha Barton, Jerry Allen, Melvin Allen II and Rachel Allen; his stepchildren, Sonny Ourai of Lebanon, Nirouth Ourai of Lafayette, Jonathan Johnson and Pany Davis of Lafayette; and his siblings, Gerald Allen of Milford, IL, Gary Allen of Lincoln, IL and Terry Allen Steevens of Wentzville, MO.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

COVID-19 restrictions will apply, face mask and social distancing will be required.
