He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vandeventer and Beverly Vandeventer (Neal). He is survived by: his grandson Finley Patrick Dale Vandeventer; his son Joe "Buck"; his wife Paula; his son Joe Vandeventer (Brooke); his siblings, James Jr. (Connie), Norman (Mylin), Richard (Nancy), Angela Grimes and Megan Vandeventer; his siblings' children, Jeremy Vandeventer and Bridget Grenat; and his sister-in-law Lisa Vandeventer.
