With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Amstutz of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on January 25, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shields and Mary Shields (Artman); her husband Robert W. Amstutz; and her siblings, William "Bill" Shields, Ramona and Barbara.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Gainey (Archie), Janet Wallace (Ron) and James "Andy" Amstutz (Anita); her grandchildren, Joe Gainey, Patricia Strange (Shane) of Freelandville, IN, Christina Kelley (Eric), Jennifer Martin (Michael), Chad Wallace (Emily), Cliff Wallace (Sarah) of New London, WI, Jacob Amstutz (Megan) and Jadrianne "Jadie" Amstutz; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Badgett (Adrienne), Zaccheaus Badgett, Abigail Badgett, Aaron Badgett, Samantha Pickett, Katie Campbell, Charlotte, Paige Martin, Dylan, Bailey, Ashlynn Wallace, Madison Wallace and Brynlee Amstutz; her great great grandchildren, Nikolai and Athena Badgett; her sister Mary Alice Purdy of West Lebanon; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth "Betty" Greenwald of West Lafayette.
