He was predeceased by: his parents, Bern Mason and Lucy Mason; and his siblings, Audrey Ruth Lynch, Junior Bern Mason, Ethyl Lynn Dotson (Peggy), Boyd Mason, Robert Mason, Eva Jane Chittum, Betty Sue Archer and Billi Jean Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lee Payne Mason; and his children, Owen Mason, Jr. (Shelloy), Ronald Mason (Dana), Joyce Haas (Craig) and Katrina Summer (Tom). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Owen's name to Church Alive.
