It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia L Poppy of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Ewing and Elizabeth Ewing (Fox); her husband Richard L. Poppy; and her daughter Kathi Sparger. She is survived by: her former husband Marvin Sparger Sr.; her children, Roger Rubright, Marvin Sparger Jr. of Lafayette, Kandy Massey of Lafayette, IN, Jay Sparger of Carmel, IN, Lisa Sparger of West Lafayette and Brandy Burger (Mike) of Lafayette; her sisters, Joan Drzewiecki of Lafayette and Carol Bolton (Larry) of Lafayette; and her grandchildren, Crystal Weigle, Jenny Bums, Gilbert Sparger, Christopher Burger, Cameron Burger, Haley Boat, Hannah Burger, Summer Sanchez, Kirsten Riegle, Amber Moore, Michael Sparger and Christopher Rubright. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
