He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Hemmer and Lester Hemmer (Nesdahl); his wife Maria E. Maldonado of Puerto Rico; his son Nicholas Hemmer (Jill) of Lake Stevens, WA; his sister Sherry Ann Weepie of Iowa; and his granddaughters, Violet and Jenavieve.
