We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2019, at the age of 90, Richard Shoemaker (Lafayette, Indiana), born in Romney, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice (Kingma); his parents, Everet Shoemaker and Elinor Shoemaker (Leaming); his son Dr. Michael Shoemaker (Kathleen) of Pittsboro; his granddaughters, Adrienne Anguiano (Victor) of Indianapolis and Alison Shoemaker of San Francisco; his sons, Thomas Shoemaker of Fort Wayne and Dr. Daniel Shoemaker (MaryLou) of Middlefield, CT; his grandchildren, Andrew Shoemaker of Yucaipa, CA and Emily Donatelli (Vincent) of Sarver, PA.; and his siblings, Robert, James and Esther Servies. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann Soup Kitchen (612 Wabash Ave., Lafayette, IN 47905) or to University Place.
