He is survived by: his children, Robert Matson Jr. (Brenda) of Lafayette, Kimberly Whitus (Mark) of Lafayette and Kandy Hoover (Rich) of Attica; his brothers, Charles "Chuck" Matson of Fowler, Ralph Matson (Mary) of Fowler and Thomas "Gus" Matson (Lynn) of Fowler; and his grandchildren, Joshua Mounce (Alexandria), Courtney Schultz (Justin), Gabriel Trueblood, Aidan Hoover, Blake and Emilee Matson.
