With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell S. Shoemaker (Lafayette, Indiana), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marcella Shoemaker (Coon) of Decatur, IL and Russell Shoemaker; his wife Connie K. Heiser; his children, Brian Shoemaker (Kathy) of Portland, OR, Jason Shoemaker of Atlanta, GA, Daren Shoemaker (Rebecca) of Avon and Lisa Deckard (Matt) of Lafayette; and his sisters, Sharon Fisher (Don), Sue Andrews (Sonny) of Sullivan, IL, Linda Snyder (Sterling) of Warrensburg, IL and Connie Shoemaker of Denver, CO.. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Russell's name to St. James Church and School, 800 Cincinnati St. Lafayette, IN 47904.
