She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Stedman and Dorothy Stedman (Goddard); her husband George Johnston; her siblings, Byron Don Stedman, Robert Stedman, William Stedman and Judy Skees; and her grandson Gregory W. Seabolt, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Mark Johnston of Lafayette, Lori Elmer (Bill) of Porter, IN and Lisa Seabolt (Gregory W.) of West Point; her grandchildren, Jennifer Monks, Sommer Sprouls, Mark S. Johnston, Michelle Hewitt, Josh Elmer and Jamie Lapinski; her great grandchildren, Ryan Sprouls, Ethan Monks, Jaden Hewitt and Romy Monks; her siblings-in-law, Brandy Johnston, Dortha Stedman, Howard Skees and Ralph Johnston; and her friends, John, Ruby Haines, Steve and Kathy Burkhart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association and America Parkinson Disease Association.
