She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ford and Lou Vicie Ford; her brothers, Dale, Stanley and Howard Ford; and her sister-in-law Shirley Ford.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Swinford; and her children, Larry Swinford, Steven Swinford, Teresa Skipper, Carol Fairbanks and Sharon McGuire. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
