He is survived by: his children, Amanda Silvers Mason of Terre Haute, Amy Earl (Marc) of Nappanee, Eric Smith of Bradenton, FL, Andrew Smith of Bowling Green, KY and Emily (John "JJ" Franklin) of Bradenton, FL; his siblings, Deborah Christine Jackson, Wiley Duane Smith, James Wiley Smith, Jr., Vonnie Kevin Smith and Mary Angela Pounds; his grandchildren, Joshua Silvers, Katherine Silvers, Ryan Silvers, Leia Earl, Austin Earl, Matthew Earl and Gabriella Mason; his great grandchild Jordan Rae Silvers; and his pet Sheba.
