She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Townsend and Mildred Townsend (McCauley). She is survived by: her husband James H. Hazlewood of Lafayette; her children, Paula Scott (Christopher) of Tucson, AZ and J. Kevin Hazlewood of Lafayette; her siblings, Martha Bell (Gregg) of Crawfordsville and Jerry M. Townsend of Wallace; her grandchildren, K. C. Scott (Jessica), Alex Scott (Jenna O'Hara), A. J. Hazlewood (Brittany) and Kyla Hazlewood; and her great grandchildren, Molly Hauk-Hazlewood, Channing Hazlewood, Ian, Jacob, Evelyn, Juliette and Axel Scott.
Memorial contributions may be made in Veneta's name to the Kidney Foundation.
