With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna J. Furrer of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Chalmers, Indiana, who passed away on July 23, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Furrer and Clara Furrer (Frieden); and her siblings, John Furrer and Arlene Wood. She is survived by: her sibling's children, Sheryl Richert (Floyd), Patti Baugess (Tom), Nancy Scott (Mike), Allen Furrer (Patty) and Rex Furrer (Jill). She is also survived by great-great-nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Fowler Theatre or the St. Ann's Soup Kitchen in Lafayette.
