He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Schreiber and Mary Schreiber (Bickel); his former wife Stella Lee; his granddaughter Amber Leigh Osborn; and his sister Elva Birchett.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brumfield; his children, Wilford Schreiber (Lea) of Sarasota, FL, Ellen Lee of Iowa City, IA, Karen Osborn (Michael) of Blairsville, GA, Cheryl Fabec (Ronald) of Roswell, NM and Nancy Thatcher (Scott) of West Lafayette, IN; and his sister Ardith Endres (Frank) of Garden Grove, CA..
