She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Horn and Chessie B. Horn (Haneline); her husband Calvin Batts; her brother James P. Horn of Plainfield, IN; and her son-in-law John Strantz (Chris).
She is survived by: her children, Danny L. Batts (Doris Bruton) of Lafayette, Marshal W. Batts (Hiroko Nakagawa), Belinda VanSlyke (Taber) of Boswell and Brenda Strantz of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Amy Cochran, Sean Strantz and Travis Bennett; and her great grandchild Carter.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
