We bid farewell to Joy L. Finchum-Conn of Lake Station, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Joy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Blake and Louise Blake (Arington); her husband Jim Conn; her children, Brian Finchum and Kimberly Finchum; and her sister Marion Brown.
She is survived by: her son Garry Finchum (Dionn) of Lake Station; her grandchildren, Jason Finchum, Lacey Finchum and Brittaney Ray; her stepdaughters, Donna Cleek (Jerry) and Diana LaMere (Phil); and her close friends, Kristina Vega, Cecilia Vega-Johnson and Sue Davis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
