He was predeceased by : his father Guy; and his brother Larry. He is survived by : his wife Maria; his children, Lizbeth Carroll, Nadiehsda Barten (Chris) and Michael II (Angie Burge); his grandchildren, Bradley, Gaby Carroll, Sofia, Jackson and Alexandria Barten; his mother Betty Anderson; his brothers, Danny (Wanda), Alan (Lori), Phil (Jeanine) and Matt (Xiomara); and his sister-in-law Elaine Anderson.

He had attended Fellowship of Living Hope Church in Rensselaer, where the family asks you to send donations, in lieu of flowers.
