He was predeceased by: his parents, George Maynard and Irene Fansler (Esken); his children, Denise, Guy and Douglas Fansler; his grandson Brandon Fansler; and his siblings, Alice Ernsberger, William and Dale Fansler.
He is survived by: his wife Therese; his children, Julie Whitehead (Kevin) of South Bend and Shawn Fansler (Amy) of Plymouth; his daughter-in-law Judith Fansler of Mishawaka; and his grandchildren, Jessica Fansler, Jennifer Fansler, Jessica Whitehead, Cameron Whitehead, Summer Plummer, Josey Leed, Shaylee Leed, Jacob Fansler, Joseph Fansler, Joshua Fansler and Jillian Fansler. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
