She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Workman and Marjorie Workman; and her siblings, Shirley Lucas, Juanita [Herb] Christy, Norma [Dean] Shirley and Donnie Workman.
She is survived by: her sister Carol; her husband Everett "Gene" Garrett; her children, Muriel (Dennis Garrett), Daryl Garrett (Anne) of North Liberty and Brenda Stahly (Don) of Walkerton; her grandchildren, Erin Cashen (Clayton) of St. Joseph, MI, Denny Garrett of Colorado, Tony Garrett (Lindsay) of North Liberty, Ben Fagan (Shauna) of Bremen, IN and Rebekah Ruble (Blaine) of Lakeville, IN.; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Lily Cashen of St Joseph, MI, Taylor, Avery, Gracie Garrett of North Liberty, Brice, Bailey Garrett of Elkhart, Piper and Elliott Fagan of Bremen.
