Audra Chapmon wrote a sympathy message

“Dearest Uncle Sid and all of Aunt Lila's Boys, my Cousins: I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be there for the services for Aunt Lila. But I wanted to tell you that I've been thinking of you and how sorry I am that you lost your precious Wife and your sweet Momma. I know from what we went through losing Daddy that it has been such a heartbreaking time for you. But something that I found comforting and that I hope will comfort you too is that Jesus promised at John 5:28,29 that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect back to life those in the grave. And then they can pick right up where they left off in living life to the full in perfect health. Psalms 37:9-11, 29 says they will have abundant peace and get to live forever right here on this earth in a restored paradise. But until then, they are safe in the memory of their heavenly Father, Jehovah God. And John 11:11-13 shows that until it's God's time to resurrect them, they will sleep peacefully. So they are in Good Hands! And until then, these are the things that I will always remember about my Aunt Lila. When the family would come from Indiana to Arkansas to visit, it was such an exciting time for me when I was a child. I would always look at Aunt Lila and think what a BEAUTIFUL aunt I had. And even though I didn't get to see Aunt Lila much even as a child, I will never forget the sound of her voice. I always LOVED the sound of her voice. It was such a soothing, calming sound. She always seemed so soft-spoken which was pretty amazing since she was the mother of all boys. I always thought my Aunt Lila was so feminine and such a lady! In fact, some years back, after I had not seen Aunt Lila for many years, we went to see her when Gina and I took Daddy to Aunt Leona's funeral. I remembered thinking that I couldn't believe how beautiful she still was after all those years and even though she had just gone through a round of chemotherapy. It was SO good to see her and I'm so glad that Daddy got to see his little sister that one last time. I could tell that it meant so much to him. And it meant so much to me and Gina too. I know I speak for all of Aunt Lila's nephews and nieces when I say, 'We will never forget our 'Aunt Lollipop"! Love to you all, Audra (Audie Needham) Chapmon”
