He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Taylor and Grace Taylor (Steward); his spouse Aillene F. Taylor (Monce); his siblings, Gilbert, Herman Taylor, Ora McKnight, Thelma Taylor, Virginia Sams and Irene Murrel; his granddaughter Rachel Somers; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Lynn Taylor.
He is survived by: his sons, Kerry O. Taylor of Rushville, Ronald M. Taylor of Carrollton, TX and Herschel Taylor, II of Laurel. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 and one on the way of great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Premier Hospice.
