She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Proffitt and Minnie Anderson Perry Proffitt; her husband James Clinton "J. C."; her children, Melissa Jane Reams, Patricia Steele, Vickie L. Turner and Danny Clinton Reams; her brothers, Vernon Perry, Ordis Perry and Silas Anderson; and her granddaughter Amanda Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Saundra Goins (Glen) of Laurel, Indiana, Christina Reams of Connersville, James Ray Reams of Connersville, Roger L. Reams (Tammy) of Laurel and Gary W. Reams (Heidi) of Laurel, Indiana.; and her siblings, Brenda Glenn of Rushville, Indiana and Darrell Proffitt (Ann) of Connersville, Indiana. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
