He is survived by: his mother Mary Zahneis (Rengering) of Cincinnati, OH; his wife Shellie Zahneis of Lawrenceburg, IN; his children, Jeffery Zahneis (Sunny) of Cincinnati, OH, Dietrick Shorten of Lawrenceburg, IN, Matthew Shorten (Michelle) of Batesville, IN, Tara Nieman (Tom) of Cincinnati, OH, Ashley Greber (Von) of Lawrenceburg, IN and Danielle Bollinger (Josh) of Lawrenceburg, IN; and his siblings, Richard Zahneis of Cincinnati, OH, Jim Zahneis (Gina) of Cincinnati, OH, Mike Zahneis (Jenny) of Cincinnati, OH, Steve Zahneis (Carol) of Aurora, IN, Dave Zahneis (Karen) of Cincinnati, OH, Karen Zahneis of Cincinnati, OH and Sharon Zahneis of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home (455 Ridge Ave, Greendale, IN 47025). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 PM at the Cheviot Eagles (3807 Glenmore Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45211).
A Celebration of Jeff's life will follow at the Cheviot Eagles from 730-11 pm, 3807 Glenmore Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. (Public parking lot off Harrison Ave.) Contributions may be made to the L: oving Hearts Hospice.
