He was predeceased by: his wife MaryAnn Birkenheuer; his daughter Angela Wagner (Birkenheuer); his parents, Mary Birkenheuer and William Birkenheuer; his sister Joanne Statt; and his brother-in-law John Statt.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Birkenheuer Dickens (Ron), Michael Birkenheuer (Dawn) and David Birkenheuer; his grandchildren, Derek Birkenheuer (Christine), Cherisse Dickens (Evan Grippa), Rachel Wagner (Bobby) and April Busse (Nick); his great grandchildren, Brady, Bonnie Birkenheuer, Charlotte and Graham Wagner; and his siblings, Don Birkenheuer (Kathy), Jim Birkenheuer (Linda) and MaryLou Corder (Charlie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
