The memory of Billie L. Emmert Sr. of Lebanon, Indiana, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Emmert and Adah Emmert (Broshar); his wife Phyllis Joan Emmert; his grandson Scott Stunyo; and his sister Utokia Bush Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Lemper (Phil) of Garrett, IN, John Emmert (Vicki) of Darlington, IN, Bill Jr. Emmert (Sherry) of Jamestown, IN and Brenda Stunyo (George) of Grand Rapids, MN.; his grandchildren, Beth Riffe (Greg), Phil Jr. Lemper (Tara), Tim Lemper, Miranda Serletic (Rich), Julie Taylor (Clinton), Janell Anderson (Tom), Nathan Emmert, John Farmer (Amy), David Emmert (Annah), Christine Stunyo and Tom Stunyo (Erin); and his brother-in-law Joe Johnson of Advance, IN.. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Advance Community Church (305 Main St, Advance, IN 46102). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Advance Community Church in his memory.
