She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Boley and Henrietta Boley (Maurer); and her siblings, James Boley, Charles Boley, William Boley, Joe Boley, Raymond Boley, Clyde Boley Jr., Ida Whitlatch and Helen Brandt.

She is survived by : her husband Melvin Nichols of Lexington, Indiana; her sons, Terry Nichols (Beverly) of Columbus and Mark Nichols (Glenda) of Lexington, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Josh Nichols (Kelly), Tammie Miller (Scott), Kelsey Burkett (Brad), Corey Nichols (Ashley), Jason Nichols (Vicky) and Kristi Nichols (Patrick Lynch). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
