He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert J. Abner and Irene Abney Abner; his son-in-law Larry J. Hill Jr.; and his siblings, Charlotte Abner and Michael Abner.
He is survived by : his wife Janet Ladd Abner; his daughters, Susan Mikesell (Jeramy) and Teresa Bell (Mark); his grandchildren, Maddy Mikesell (Cody Handley), Alex Mikesell, Devan Hill, Shyanne Rader and Grace Bell; his siblings, Mary Ann Eversole (James), Oscar Abner (Rhonda), Andy Abner, Lisa White (Tommy), Terry Abner, Rodney Abner, Casey Abner and Jimmy Abner; and his aunts, Doreen Tuttle and Jean Roberts (Kenny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.
