She was predeceased by: her parents, William Terrell and Eva Leona Terrell (Hochstetler); her former husband Aaron Barton; her husband Fred L. Gouckenour; her daughter Lisa Sparks; her grandson Jason Gouckenour; and her siblings, Bob Terrell, Roy Terrell, William Terrell, Jr., Juanita Pearl and Hazel Burris.

She is survived by: her son Tony Gouckenour of Linton; and her grandchildren, David Sparks, Jr., Ronald Sparks and Season Weddle.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home (140 E Vincennes St, Linton, IN 47441). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
