She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas E. Carpenter and Carrie Mae Carpenter (Sharp). She is survived by: her son Phillip James Kaley; her granddaughter Hannah Kaley; her sisters, Virginia Shoemaker and Joan Cartwright; her children, Kathy Kaley-Shepard (Chuck Shepard), Sonny (Judy Kaley) and Nathaniel (Jen Kaley); and her brother James Carpenter. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
