He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer W. Wood and Gertrude Goldsberry Wood; his children, Mike Wood (LeAnn) and Candy Heath (Tom); his grandchildren, Matthew (Christine), Mandy Jarrard (Jamey) of Lafayette and Kelley Stier (Chris) of Lafayette; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Logan and Christian; and his daughter Vickie Spencer.
