He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincy Berkshire and Violet Berkshire (Kerns); his siblings, Larry Dean Berkshire, James Berkshire, Donald Berkshire and Marjorie Kesling; his grandchild Shawn McLochlin; and his great grandchild Brendon Carden.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne L. Rehwald; his children, Tony Berkshire of Logansport, Scott Berkshire (Tracy) of Amboy, IN, Brenda Clark (Matt) of Galveston, Cindy Smith of Logansport and Susan Hollis (Lee Hamilton) of Royal Center; and his siblings, Sue Blackwood of Largo, FL, Rhonda Trapp (Max) of Royal Center, John "Dick" Berkshire (Vada) of Royal Center and William. He is also survived by several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
