She was predeceased by: her parent Alfred T.; her sister Patricia Taylor of Rockingham, NC.; and her grandson Joel M. Bowman. She is survived by: her parent Altie B. Wilson (McPhail); her spouse Edward J. Bender Jr.; her children, Vicki Campbell (Bill) of Logansport, Susan Layer of Logansport and Michael A. "Tony" Bender; her grandchildren, Chelsea Cates (Josh) of Logansport, Sarah Layer of Logansport, Chris Layer (Amanda) of Logansport and Kenny Layer of Kokomo; her great grandchildren, Alexis Bowman, Sophia Cates and Sailor Cates; and also Lafayette.
