He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Erman Dowell and Lena Pearson Dowell; his spouse Melodie Wygant Ausperk; his children, Don (Tammie), Rob, Jim, Christina Justice (Barry) and Laurie Dowell (Richard Hankee); his stepdaughter Nikki Walker Miles (Rick); and his siblings, David (Norma), Erman, Jr. (Dee) and Pat Booker (Butch). He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
