Eugenia Florence Parsons Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugenia Florence Parsons of Loogootee, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Kidwell and Beatrice Kidwell (McCann); her husband Eugene Parsons; her sons, Kenneth and Gary Parsons; her siblings, Dorothy Smith, Laverne Risacher, Ralph Kidwell and Robert Kidwell; her grandson Christopher Parsons; and her great grandchild Nehemiah Gene Ayers.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Parsons (Janet), Larry Parsons (Marilou), Robert Parsons (Alice), Ronnie Parsons (Denise) and Connie Padgett (Charlie); her daughters-in-law, Jodi Lee (Rory) and Rose Lichlyter (Mark); her grandchildren, Michelle Carrico (Bill), Pete Parsons (Kim), Patty Allen (Michael), Matthew Parsons (Kristen), Michael Parsons (Jamie), Chad Parsons (Hanna), Nathon Parsons, Christina Parsons (Jeremy Brewer), Cindy Larsons (Ryan), Bryan Parsons (Ashlee), Jeanne Hummel (Nate), Josh Parsons (Koryn), Jessie Borgmann (Ben), Craig Padgett (Amanda), Cory Padgett (Kristen) and Amanda Ayers (Travis); and her sister-in-law Rose Kidwell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Blake Funeral Home (300 Church St, Loogootee, IN 47553). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (408 Church St, Loogootee, IN 47553).
