He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Blaine and Hazel Callahan (Russell); and his siblings, Ruth Thompson (Goble), Juanita Strange (Guy), Mary Scott (Rome), Noble "Junior" Callahan (Ava) and JoAnn Hunter (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Sue Callahan (Franklin); his children, Merle Callahan (Mary) of Loogootee, IN, Jama Scherer (Dave) of Evansville, IN and Terry Callahan of Loogootee, IN.; his grandchildren, James Ryan Callahan (Ashley), Roger Callahan (Adriane) of Odon, IN, Kathryn Callahan of Fishers, IN, William Callahan (Ashlee) of Springfield, MO, Ryan Scherer (Jeanie) of Jasper, IN, Jessica Scherer Skyles of Evansville, IN, Adam Callahan of Lewes, DE, Ashley Miller (Will) of Canton, OH and MacKenzie LeMoine (Patrick) of Fayetteville, NC.; and his great grandchildren, Lucy, Emmett, Violet, Hezekiah, Lily, Jackson, Norah, Alice, Henry, Levi, Hallie, Draden, Carter, Laynie, Adam, Lucas, Blake and Sage. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
