He was predeceased by : his parents, Benton M. Jones and Josephine Jones (Jones). He is survived by : his siblings, Rudy Jones of Shoals, Trudy Sutton (Mike) of Loogootee and Brent Jones (Joan) of Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Joshua M. Jones, Cassidy Dages (Tyler), Shaun Sutton (Viktoria) and Eric Jones (Lisa Taylor).
