She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Hitzeman. She is survived by: her children, Larry Hitzeman (Shirley) and Linda Eszenyi (Hawk); and her grandchildren, Scott Anderson (Kelly), Wendy Pflughoeft (Scott), Ernie Anderson (Cindy), Heather McGuire, Eric Eszenyi (Chris) and Lisa Braden (Adam). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Evelyn's name to Three Creeks Historical Association, 215 Halsted St., Lowell, IN 46356.
