He was predeceased by: his parents, Morton Gunderson and Esther Gunderson. He is survived by: his children, Mark Gunderson (Sonia) and Kay Langedyke (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Bobbie Bodenman (Joel), Jennifer Hammons (Ryan), Melissa Smith (Matt), Nicholas Langedyke (Anne), Katherine Moore (Jason), Kristen Langedyke, Marcus Gunderson and Madison Alexander (Michael). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to his food pantry.
