He was predeceased by : his son Glen; and his parents, Joseph and Angelica. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy; his children, Dennis and Debbie Nichols (George); his grandchildren, Stephanie Miller (Rich), Dustin Nichols (Dawn) and Erin Nichols (Oliver); his great grandchildren, Corey Miller, Kody and Krystal Snyder; and his sisters, Janet Knapik (Walter) and Anna Block.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to William J. Riley Memorial Residence, 511 Otis Bowen Dr., Munster, IN 46321.
