He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles and Mary Copeland, Jr. (Yocum); and his brothers, Timothy Copeland and Barry Copeland. He is survived by : his children, Jeremy K. Copeland of Madison, Corey A. Copeland of Madison and Marketta R. Nasby (Riley) of Chelsea; his close friend Wendy Abbott of Chelsea; his sister Terry Copeland of Chelsea; his grandchildren, Caiden Copeland, Malachi Copeland, Ryan Copeland, Lincoln Copeland, Caraline Nasby and Madaline Nasby; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Jenkins (Donnie), Kayla of Haley, CJ, Becky, Adam, Elizabeth, Clinton, Aaron and Devin Copeland.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to American Kidney Fund. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
