She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Jean Richardson Helton and Archie Ray Helton; her former husband Roger L. Lewis; her sons, Rustin R. Lewis and Derrick Lee "Big D" Lewis; and her brother Mark Douglas Helton.
She is survived by: her brother Joe Helton of Milton, Kentucky; her goddaughter Kilena Chadwell (Louis "Butch" Perry) of Madison, Indiana; her sister Darlena Griffin of Deputy, Indiana; her godson Bobby Griffin, Jr. of Deputy, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Selena Chadwell, Hailey Griffin and Charles Griffin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
